Cloudscape

Volcanic dust from the eruption on Gaua Island in northern Vanuatu reached into the upper atmosphere a few weeks ago, creating fascinating cloud patterns across the country.
This photo doesn’t really do it justice, but it gives a hint of the whisps and striations that covered the sky.
